My Involvement
Favorite Memory
Getting up every morning during the summer of 2016 and trying to figure out the amorphous plans Dr. Price had for the university and building an experience for students out of it. Learning to understand Dr. Price had bigger goals than we had originally imagined, and adapting to those goals was always a treat.

My Involvement
Through HICH, I’ve designed, implemented, and led efforts to address issues in my community through responsive engagement. As one of the co-directors for the 2021-2022 academic year, I coordinated with student leaders, faculty advisors, and community health workers to ensure that our projects are sustainable and aligned with our larger goal of overcoming barriers for underserved populations. I led the project Creative Care for 3.5 years and also helped pilot Responsive Resourcing during the pandemic.
Favorite Memory
I have made too many good memories in HICH to pick just one! My top three memories were leading my first ever watercolor workshop as a Creative Care project head, leading yoga at a community health fair at Royal Palms, and getting the chance to meet both old and new R&D and PHs at our first ever HICH picnic! After a whole year of working with one another remotely, it was wonderful to finally see them in person.
